I was bitten by a nymph tick on Monte Lema, Ticino, Switzerland. Didnt have tweezer so I used a lighter to try and get the tick to back out, but I ended up burning and killing it. When I tried to pluck it out its internal contents squeezed, whether it was into my bloodstream I cant be sure.

2 months later, no rash, 2 IgM IgG test negative. However, 2 weeks ago, a couple days after the second test, and 1 month 3 weeks after the bite, I had an extreme fever and muscle aches with no respiratory symptoms, gone by the next day. My muscles seem to ache more than usual, and some visual blurring are my only symptoms. Is it possible that it could have taken this long for initial fever to manifest. Also, I ate many raw garlic cloves in the weeks after the bite.

My symptoms manifested over the course of a year. Muscle pains, strange feelings, brain fog, serious vision and vertigo. I never had any evidence of a tick bite. My lyme test turned out to be a false negative.

After the bite did you take a course of antibiotics? If not you may be dealing with early lyme symptoms. you may need to get a brief course of doxy two weeks before a lyme test to get a test result you can be confident in.

My suggesting is to take an serious approach to your health. If you do have lyme you are blessed to be able to treat it early as so many go for many years before it is discovered after significant damage.
