Timely blog for us, Bryan. I just got off of the phone with one of our 10-year-old son's Dr.. He's a naturopath, and just peformed a test on Eddie that evaluates all of his systems, and then tells you what treatments are optimal.

He told us that rifing was not ideal at this time. Eddie's system is so overwhelmed with Lyme that we need to stop for a month (he has been rifing weekly). The Dr. prescribed artemisinin and homeopathic remedies for the immune system. He said after the four weeks, it's likely that would be a good time to start rifing again.

This is a shift in our current paradigm. But your screwdriver/hammer analogy helps.

couldnt agree more Bryan. i used IV abx for a year. In retrospect I wish I had limited it to 3 months as there were no appreciable gains after 3 mos! and many losses not to mention to the ol coffers. But I am for what works. I am seeing great success with MMS and detox but if soemone came out with a new ABX for lyme that worked id consider it as well!

Some people in the alternative world get as rigid as the IDSA when it comes to treating this illness. I think we shoudl all stay open for ourselves and for others as it is such an individual unique and complex illness!

Yeah - clean out that garage hahaha!
