In the future, my videos will include hopefully a good deal of footage of my (mostly boring) self talking about Lyme-related topics. However, I will also intersperse some content not generated by me -- i.e., videos from other creators that are of interest to the Lyme Disease Community.

This is one such video. A must see explanation of what mercury does to your brain, presented by the University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine.

I've been saying now for over 3 years that mercury is one of the largest contributing factors in chronic Lyme Disease. Now you can understand why!

To learn more about detoxing from mercury poisoning, I suggest Andrew Cutler's book, "Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment," available from:

Hi Bryan,

Do you still use the Cutler protocol to keep your mercury levels at an acceptable level? I am assuming that if you still have active Lyme that you will be sequestering mercury.

Yes, I do still use it. I will probably use it my whole life. My whole family tested the highest our doc had ever seen for mercury. I think we may have some type of exposure near our house and so I am going to assume I have ongoing exposure and keep chelating forever. I now can chelate with zero symptoms and zero side effects so I think the benefits outweigh the costs.

Editing now to say that it may be possible that I don't have ongoing exposure, just that this bug is that nasty and that mercury is that tough. Not sure.

When you started the protocol did you pretty much follow the regimen listed in his book?

Hi Bryan,

Did you modify your approach to rifing when you started the Cutler protocol? I was curious if you fealt that the kill off from rifing increased your mercury movement?

Hi Bryan,

I was curious if you have a problem with high sulfer foods when you are chelating. You had mentioned before that you felt better when you ate eggs.

Mark,

1. No modification in rife protocol.

2. Certain foods. Couldn't pinpoint any pattern.

Hi Bryan,

In your book "Top 10 Lyme Disease Treatments" you mentioned that a lot of people with lyme have low cholesterol. Do you have an opinon if having low cholesterol decreases the bodies ability to detox? Is cholesterol the main detoxing substance for the digestive track?
